Temperature Blanket – July Summary

July is over already!  Where did the time go?  Check out details of how July worked up on my 2017 temperature blanket!

You can see all my posts about this project here.  As a reminder, the concept of my temperature blanket is to use the average local temperature in the 24-hour period of each day to determine the colour of the row for that day.  My colour chart is below for reference.

The big trend in July was… Ronald McDonald?!?  Seriously, every row except for ONE was either butterscotch (yellow) or cherry (red).  The one single Soft Fern row was actually 0.2 degrees C away from also being yellow.  That’s pretty shockingly consistent for the month.  It also means it was a little less exciting to crochet than usual… and I had to go buy my THIRD ball of yellow!

I quickly snapped shots of each season (roughly) and put them below for you to compare.  Lots of extra pics of the progress so far are at the end of the post as well.  Enjoy!
